So.. why am I writing a blog now? 

Well, I feel like I’ve reached a point in my career where my expertise, research, and ideas could really benefit others, and since I’ve always loved sharing knowledge, this blog is the perfect way to do just that!

So who am I?

I´m Diego, nice to meet you. I´ve been in the Cyber Security world for the past 6-7 years, I am a Telecommunications Engineer, hold a couple masters and a bunch of SANS certifications, and I like cats & cars. 

I was recently contacted by SANS to start as a TA on SEC595 - Applied Data Science and AI/Machine Learning for Cybersecurity Professionals - so I will be using these Blogs to help myself prepare for my classes. I highly encourage anyone with the possibility to take it if your goal is to better understand what ML/AI is, and how to implement your own solutions.
